Update: Brevard cities have joined the county in handing out sandbags to residents.

Melbourne: Melbourne residents can get sandbags starting Thursday, Sept. 7 at the greyhound track at 1100 N. Wickham Road. Anyone wanting sandbags will need to show proof of Melbourne residence. The city has put a 10-sandbag cap per resident. 

Titusville: Sandbags will be available at 101 N. Singleton Avenue. Residents will be responsible for loading their own sandbags. Proof of residency is required, and pick-up will begin at 12 p.m. Wednesday.
