The City of Cocoa will have a fireworks display over the Indian River to celebrate Independence Day that can be viewed by the public from Cocoa Riverfront Park located in Historic Cocoa Village on July 4, 2019.
The fireworks will start at dark (approximately 9:15 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time).
In addition to the fireworks display, there will be a free outdoor concert performed by the Brevard Symphony Orchestra that begins at 8 p.m.
Remember to bring your lawn chairs or blankets and get here early to find a spot.
Food and beverages will be available for sale at the park.
Sparklers/personal fireworks, alcohol, coolers, drones, tents, or canopies are not permitted in the park during this event.
Harrison Street will be closed at Delannoy Avenue and Riversedge Boulevard.
Only leashed/harnessed service animals, as described in the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) are permitted.
Riverfront Park is handicap accessible. However, seating is on a first-come-first-serve basis, and an estimated 10,000-12,000 people will be in attendance.
City officials recommend that disabled attendees arrive early.
The City of Cocoa is located on the mainland, seven miles away from Cocoa Beach and the ocean.
The fireworks in Cocoa are part of a three-day celebration of “Smoke on the Water” firework displays in the Cocoa Beach area.
